Highlights:
The Second Tuesdays Concert Series hosts pianist Jooeun Pak in a recital of works
by Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel, Debussy, and Haydn, accompanied by artwork painted by the artist telling the story of her life journey ($20 general admission).
Wednesday evening sees the Colorado Symphony and the Denver Young Artists Orchestra side-by-side including works by Mason Bates, Molly Joyce, and Gustav Holst (free general admission).
For something a little different, the MAS features Brazilian pianist Jovino Santos Neto and Estonian bassoonist Martin Kuuskmann in performance on Thursday evening ($50 general admission at the door/discounts for advanced purchase, students, and youth).
If in the mood for dance, the Colorado Ballet continues their run of Alice (in wonderland) (tickets starting at $40) or experience dance inspired Baroque concerti by Vivaldi and Bach with the Colorado Symphony featuring Avi Avital (mandolin), Nicholas Tisherman (oboe), and David Belkovski (harpsichord) (dynamic pricing/student discounts available).
